MCW-Digital – mobile, flexible, quick set up
The requirements:
The CCI has two boardrooms:
Each week several meetings take place in the historically designed boardroom on the ground floor (see picture) with the conference system being set up and put away each time. Therefore, time plays an important role. An old wired system is to be replaced. The second boardroom on the first floor is used for meetings only now and then. For the project planning it had to be taken into account that both rooms are close by (directly above one another) as all 21 microphone units are to be used in the upper or lower room as well as in both rooms simultaneously.
The time to set up and put away the system is to be reduced to a minimum so that the technical staff can perform other duties.
The ambience of the historically designed boardroom is to remain as unaffected as possible.
The solution:
A company from Central Franconia installed a MCW-D 50-3 control unit in both rooms. This allows the microphone units to be used flexibly in both rooms. The conference system in the practical charging and transport case is always ready for use, no matter if the meeting takes place in the upper or lower room. Although the rooms are close by, meetings can take place in both rooms simultaneously. As the MCW-D system does not operate with infrared but radio communication, it was possible to integrate the antennae unobtrusively behind the curtains. Due to the wireless design no visible wiring is required for the microphone units.
The conclusion:
The technical staff is enthusiastic about the short time that is needed for setting up or putting away the system. The wireless MCW-D 50 conference system meets the requirements completely and if necessary, the system can be expanded without any additional installations at any time.
