Tahitian parliament holds meetings with MCW-D 50 conference system

In the middle of the Pacific Ocean there is a group of French Polynesia islands which belongs France. The Parliament house, which has been built in the country’s typical style, is located in the capital Papeete on Tahiti.

In order to replace the old, analogue microphone system by a modern conference system within two weeks a quick and easy solution was needed without complex cabling. The existing microphone units and loudspeakers should not be used any longer.

They chose the wireless MCW-D 50 conference system from beyerdynamic with 76 microphone units which are powered by individual mains adapters as the tables already provided 230 V cables. The microphone units are controlled by a PC with the MCW-D Controller software, which is in the next room and remotely controlled by a KVM switch.
